KATE TUME: DEATH MASKS
An exhibition and conversation about art, death, grief and the magical object. As part of Weird Worthing Folk Fringe, we're delighted to present an intimate pop-up exhibition of Kate Tume's award-winning Death Masks project.
Join us for an evening exploring the relationship between art, death and ritual, as Kate is joined in conversation by Richard Manders of Colonnade House.
Together, they'll explore what it means to make art in the face of death, the folklore surrounding grief, rites of passage, and the objects we create and keep to remember, honour and make sense of those we've lost.
An opportunity to see this extraordinary body of work up close, hear more about the ideas and processes behind it, and consider the strange and enduring human impulse to make something tangible out of loss.
FRIDAY 30 OCTOBER
