Terms & Conditions

The Yard Card is our loyalty card for customers at The Hand Brew Co Brewery Taproom aka Yard by Hand. Collect stamps when you buy drinks at the taproom and, once your card is complete, enjoy a House Drink on us.

Collecting stamps

A Yard Card stamp is available when you purchase an eligible drink from the taproom bar.

One eligible drink purchased = one stamp.

Stamps must be collected at the time of purchase and cannot normally be added retrospectively. Stamps have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash.

We reserve the right not to issue stamps in conjunction with particular promotions, complimentary drinks, special offers or other discounted purchases.

For the purposes of the Yard Card, eligible drinks are:

  • A pint of draft beer

  • A pint of draft cider

  • A medium or large glass of wine

  • Spirit with a mixer

  • Cans from the beer fridge

Your free House Drink

Once you have collected the required number of stamps shown on your Yard Card, you can exchange the completed card for one House Drink at the taproom.

For the purposes of the Yard Card, our House Drinks are:

  • Any Hand Brew Co draft beer

  • House draft cider

  • Medium house wine

  • Single house spirit with a mixer

  • Hand Brew Co own-brand cans

  • Any soft drink

Availability is subject to what we have in stock at the time. Guest beers, guest cans, premium wines and spirits, double house spirits, cocktails, bottles and other drinks outside the House Drinks range are not included.

There is no cash alternative and the value of a free House Drink cannot be put towards the purchase of a different or more expensive drink.

Using your Yard Card

Completed Yard Cards must be surrendered when claiming the free House Drink.

Yard Cards and stamps cannot be exchanged for cash, sold or otherwise transferred for monetary value.

Lost, stolen or damaged Yard Cards cannot normally be replaced, and we cannot replace stamps previously collected unless we are able to verify them.

We reserve the right to refuse cards or stamps that we reasonably believe have been copied, altered, fraudulently obtained or otherwise misused.

Alcohol and responsible service

The Yard Card does not guarantee the sale or supply of alcohol.

Alcoholic rewards are available only to customers aged 18 or over. We operate Challenge 25 and may ask for valid proof of age.

Our team retains the right to refuse service in accordance with licensing requirements and our responsible service policies. A completed Yard Card does not override a decision to refuse service.

Changes to the Yard Card

We may amend the Yard Card scheme, the number of stamps required, the range of eligible drinks or the House Drinks included in the reward from time to time.

We may also withdraw or replace the Yard Card scheme. Where reasonably possible, we will give customers notice of significant changes or the withdrawal of the scheme through our website or at the taproom.

Promoter

The Yard Card is operated by The Hand Brewing Company Limited.

By collecting and redeeming Yard Card stamps, you agree to these terms and conditions.
